Pastor Cristy was born and raised in the Greater Milwaukee area.  She is a graduate of Carthage College, Kenosha, WI, and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.  Pastor Cristy has been an ordained minister for over 20 years and has served suburban and rural congregations of all sizes in Kansas and Wisconsin.

Pastor Cristy has a deep passion for Youth and Family ministry.  She loves to find ways to share Christ’s gospel in ways that are enlightening and interesting in today’s world.  She feels privileged to invite people to own the identity given to them at baptism.  She also is committed to helping folks realize the amazing strength, fulfillment and peace that come from choosing to follow Christ.   

Pastor Cristy has always been a co-pastor with her husband Pastor Dave.  She is continually awed by the fact that God has given them such complementary strengths for ministry.  Every congregation needs the combinations of everyone’s gifts and strengths to give life and voice to Jesus’ gospel of love.  Pastor Cristy is grateful that God has taught her that lesson throughout her ministry and that she and Dave can serve as an example of that truth for the larger church.

Pastors Cristy and David are blessed with two wonderful sons, Curt and Nick.
