Vacation Bible Experience

At PandaMania Vacation Bible Experience, kids rotate through seven stations each day with their Crews, small groups of elementary-age children with an adult or teenage Crew Leader. The daily Bible Point is reinforced in creative ways at each station throughout PandaMania.
1. Party Time Sing and Play—Everyone opens their time together, as they sing a fun mix of classic favorite worship songs and brand-new praise songs, arranged to appeal to both older kids and younger kids. At least one song each day specifically ties to that day’s Bible Point.
2. Wild Bible Adventures—Kids experience the daily Bible story in a hands-on way and then have small-group discussion with their Crew Leaders, where they connect their unforgettable Bible experiences to real life.
3. Bamboo Blast Games—Kids play games that connect with the daily Bible Point or Bible Story
4. Chadder’s Movie Mania—In each day’s exciting cliffhanger video segment, Chadder Chipmunk explains the daily Bible Point. Then kids do exciting, memorable activities to help them apply what they’ve learned to their daily lives.
5. Crazy Crafts & Missions—Kids make Bible Point Crafts that remind them of the day’s Bible story and Point, Plus, through an Operation Kid-to-Kid mission project, kids experience what it means to share God’s love.
6. Treetop Treats—All the crews come together at Treetop Treats to eat fun snacks that tie in with the Bible story. Each day at PandaMania VBS, one group of Crews skips the games time to make the snacks for everyone at VBS. Snack preparation provides kids with a unique opportunity to show Jesus’ love by serving others. During snack time, Crew Leaders guide their Crews in doing the one of the iOpener activities.
7. Rowdy Wrap-Up—Drama experiences, singing the Party Time Sing & Play songs, and watching the Spotlight VBS slide presentation help kids remember and apply the daily Bible Point and Bible story they have learned throughout the day.
Vacation Bible Experience 2011
Children's Ministry runs all year long at Trinity. This summer, roughly 50 children and 30 volunteers were "bamboolzed" with Pandamania, a Vacation Bible School Experience. Children experienced how God is wild about us through Psalm 139. Through storytelling, movies, games, crafts, food, and music children were immersed in bible stories such as when God created the world (Genesis 1), Jonah and the whale (Jonah 1-3), and Jesus's resurrection (Luke 22-24). Vacation Bible School runs for one week every summer. Join us next summer when children will reach for the SKY and learn that "Everything is possible with God" Mark 10:27.
